American Cleaning Services was founded in 1949 by Joe "Mopsy" Schmoeger, American Cleaning Services has been serving local businesses for over 70 years. Joe has always emphasized to business owners that the first impression was most important and went door to door offering window cleaning and janitorial services. 

Joe's son, Charlie Schmoeger, took over in the 80's, focusing on commercial and also high-tech cleaning. After a restructuring that followed, American Cleaning Services became a full-fledged commercial cleaning company as we know it today. 

In 2007 Charlie's son, Eli, took over the business, quickly tripling it in size. To date, American Cleaning Services remains a multi-generational, family owned business continuing to serve the local Boise community and focusing on a wide spectrum of commercial and residential cleaning services.

Eli likes to say: "We have been in this business for over 70 years, and we intend to stay in business for a lot longer than that!"
